The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a year-long program that teaches middle and high school students how to start and run their own REAL businesses.
If you are creative, innovative, determined, enthusiastic and committed to your community and family, apply for the YEA program. Prior experience in business is not required.
YEA guides students through the process of starting and running a legitimate business or social movement over the course of a full academic year.

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium awards 10 scholarships up to $5,000 per academic year to Alaska Native or American Indians, who are permanent Alaska residents, interested in working in the healthcare field and currently enrolled in a formal education or training program.

Students at the Anvil City Science Academy have created a fantastic website called Nome Stories, which features photos, interviews and stories about people in their community.
Nome Stories is similar to StoryCorps and is part of the Artists in Schools program.
